General Information
What is The Beam? The Beam is the music chart that pays new artists. It’s a discovery, release, and earning system built specifically for early‑career music artists who want their music to matter now, not disappear into an endless feed. The Beam replaces passive consumption with active participation, turning momentum into real outcomes.
Who is The Beam for? The Beam’s system works for new artists across all genres. It’s designed for artists who are still building leverage and want fair moments to be discovered, supported, and paid. The Beam’s system is not for established or legacy artists. Traditional charts already reward artists who have won. The Beam exists to spotlight artists before they’re big.
What makes The Beam different? Most of the music industry runs on algorithms, predictions, and monthly listening cycles. The Beam runs on seasons, participation, and intention. We don’t ask artists to chase virality—we create clear moments where fans can show up, take action, and directly influence outcomes.

How The Beam Works
Is The Beam a social network? No. The Beam is a system, not a feed. You don’t need to post endlessly or influence algorithms. The platform is designed to focus attention around songs, seasons, and outcomes.
What should I do first as an artist?
1. Complete your profile so fans recognize you when it counts
2. Choose one song you believe in right now
3. Enter the current Chart Season
4. Invite the people who already believe in you
Chart Seasons
What are Chart Seasons? Chart Seasons are limited‑time competitive periods where new music competes for attention, momentum, and cash payouts. Unlike streaming charts, Beam Charts measure active participation around new music—not historical consumption.
Why do seasons matter? When everything is always available, nothing feels important. Seasons create urgency and give fans a reason to show up now. This is how new artists get discovered early.
What do the charts measure.
1. Fan participation
2. Momentum around new music
3. Intentional support, not passive listening
Discovery on The Beam
How does discovery work? Discovery on The Beam is action‑based. Fans choose songs, show up during big moments, and influence outcomes. Small, engaged groups of early believers can outperform massive passive audiences.

2. Songs fans are actively choosing
3. Music that hasn’t been filtered by algorithms yet
Beam Challenges
What are Beam Challenges? Challenges are brand‑funded opportunities where artists compete in creative moments with transparent rules and guaranteed payouts. Brands want to work with emerging artists—and The Beam makes that possible without exploitation.
What do artists gain from Challenges?
1. Real earnings
2. Brand exposure
3. Clear, transparent outcomes
Superfans
What is a Superfan? A Superfan is someone who chooses to support an artist intentionally. Instead of likes or streams, Superfans provide direct financial support and signal belief during important moments.
How much does a Superfan pay? It’s free to join the Beam as a fan. Fans can vote on the charts, listen to music, and post music they like as well.
