How It Works

The Dale HEAT Challenge is your chance to celebrate Hispanic and Latin cultures while showcasing the vibrant spirit of Miami and the Miami Heat! We’re on the hunt for custom-made tracks that are packed with energy, deep cultural pride, and rhythms that get everyone moving. Think reggaeton, salsa, or other Latin-influenced styles with upbeat verses, infectious hooks, and lyrics that proudly shout out "Miami" and "Miami Heat."

This is your opportunity to create something truly original that embodies the excitement of the city and its community. The deadline is August 17th, so bring your passion, creativity, and cultural pride to the challenge, and let's see what you can bring to the HEAT!

Who can participate? ✅

  • You must be 18 or older and U.S.-based
  • You must own or control rights to your submitted track (or be able to clear it)
  • We encourage artists from all backgrounds — especially those repping Latin, Caribbean, Afro-Latin, and South Florida vibes.

What kind of music are you looking for? 🎶

  • Genres: Latin, Reggaeton, EDM, Pop, and any track with high energy and wide appeal.
  • Vibe: Hype, danceable, celebratory, and proud. Think: player intros, pre-game pump-up, cultural heat.
  • Content: Avoid direct mentions of Miami HEAT personnel — focus on Miami, community, energy, island pride, and celebration.

How do I submit? 📤

You can submit your track through the above form:

  • Your track URL
  • Short description of the track’s story or theme
  • Confirmation that you meet eligibility and rights requirements

What happens after I submit?

  • Our team will monitor entries weekly and shortlist standout submissions
  • If your track is being considered, we’ll reach out for more details or rights clearance
  • Final selections will go to the Miami HEAT team for approval
