The Beam’s mission is to ignite competition in new music and reward the best. We live in an era of cheap recording, cheaper distribution, and saturated revenue models for creatives. Trust in networks and quality in creative output have become scarce. So we believe exclusivity matters more than ever. That’s why The Beam is invite-only.
We have a purpose to unite the world of music in a supportive and inclusive way. The Beam’s network pillars and posting strategy are designed to inspire users to share original work, ideas and feedback.
While The Beam’s invite-only environment provides significant buffers against the problematic issues common to public networks, any user conduct that threatens anyone’s safety either online or offline will not be tolerated. This includes harassment, bullying, or any other form of abuse.
These policies apply to all members. Depending on the severity of violation, we may take the enforcement actions described below, including limiting the visibility of certain content, labeling it, or removing it entirely. Repeated or egregious offenses will result in account restriction or suspension. If you see something you believe may violate our policies, whether in profiles, posts, messages, comments, or anywhere else, please report it to us.
