🚀 This Week’s New Wave

1. HENAO (Houston, TX | Latin Pop)

HENAO has joined Season 3 with her single “Distance” and it is climbing fast! Her fans are getting ready to bring in the momentum for the last weeks on this season’s charts!

Why The Beam? “A platform that charts independent artists? Game-changing! No one else is doing it.”

Fun Fact: “Most people don’t know I treat every instrumental and beat like a short film, I see colors, scenes, and emotion before I even record melodies & lyrics.”

Favorite Lyric Written:Emprendo la mariposa para que no deje de volar.” | English translation: “I set the butterfly in motion so it never stops flying.”

Favorite Quotes: “Never ignore the fire you feel within you, your meant to shine not to be dim” | Spanish Translation: “Nunca ignores el fuego que arde dentro de ti, naciste para brillar, no para apagarte.”

“I wasn’t meant to be understood, I was meant to be felt.” | Spanish Translation: “No nací para ser entendida, nací para ser sentida.“

2. CENYC (Montauk, NY | Hip-Hop)

With just joining Season 3, CENYC has already made his way up to #4 on the Hip-Hop/R&B chart with his single “Can’t Never Tried.” We’re loving the energy that he and his fans are bringing to The Beam!

Why The Beam? “I joined The Beam because I’m community driven and built on authenticity. I wanted to be part of a space that uplifts real artists, people who move with purpose and not just numbers. The Beam gives independent voices like mine a platform to connect with genuine listeners who value growth and truth in music.”

Fun Fact about CENYC: “In 2011, I stepped away from music to focus on the athletic side of me.I played college baseball and even toured briefly as a rapper with a brother of mine who now goes by T-Shyne. Eventually, I chased another dream and pursued professional football until I was 28. That same drive for performance led me to become a personal trainer and launch my own training business. When my daughter was on the way, everything shifted. She reminded me of the promise I made to myself years ago when I set music aside, that I’d come back to music. That moment reignited my purpose. Now, I’m back in full force, community-driven, built on authenticity, and creating music that reflects growth, resilience, and truth.”

3. Anyone Awake (Rigby, ID | Indie Rock)

After their victory on the Rock/Alt chart in Season 2, Anyone Awake is back at #1 on the chart with their single “String Theory.” Keep an eye for these guys, they know how to perform on stage and on the charts!

Why The Beam? “We joined the beam to test the waters with our demographic, so we could understand them more!”

Fun Fact about Anyone Awake: “Our song, I Think So, was originally a very sad and broken song, with mostly the same chords. It was eventually discarded and now sounds like how you hear it today.”
